Asus Transformer Prime Receiving Jelly Bean Next – Let’s Hope The Other Asus Products Follow

If you’ve been keeping up with Android News lately then I’m sure you’ve been staying on top of the Jelly Bean update situation. Asus has been pretty good with issuing out updates rather quick, and this is no exception. Starting this week, the TF300 recently received an OTA update which included Asus’s take on the newest version of Android – Jelly Bean. A quick comment on one of the Google+ posts shows that the TF201 is up next, and we could be seeing the rest of the Asus Products following up right after. Included in the new update, atleast on the 300 model, is a newer and more up-to-date kernel which will hopefully assist in ironing out some of the issues that we’ve had on the Prime. Check out the comment and announcement below and keep your eyes open for the update: if you’re not running custom firmware that is.

Keep up the good work and timely updates. Hopefully these will be a little less buggy than the previous ones…

Wrong, first tf300, next is tf700 infinity and after that the tf201 prime

Well, we said TF300 was first (as it was already rolling out), then Asus just commented on their post stating that TF201 was coming up next. We’re just going along with the post shown.
