Being one of the most anticipated phones of 2012, if not all time, the Samsung Galaxy S III has a lot of hype to live up to as it finally made its way over to the US. In a world of emerging quad core tablets and phones, the dual core system stays strong while manufacturers and consumers believe that Android is not yet optimized to fully utilize the larger number of cores. With the recent release of Jelly Bean we’re starting to see just how smooth Android has become while being able to use all of the hardware for an enhanced experience. Being the successor to the hugely popular Galaxy S II is no easy job, and we’re here to tell you if it lives up to the hype of causing all of our news feeds to be filled with BS rumors for months.

T-Mobile Updating Their HSPA+ Network To Seven New Locations Across US

Like Verizon, T-Mobile is actively expanding their 4G Market to include more customers in their ever increasing service area (which currently isn’t that large for their data coverage); with the most recent press release about the myTouch 4G Slide, they included information on seven new locations in the US which have recently gained 4G on the T-Mobile network.
The seven New Locations:
• Barnstable, Mass.
• Chico, Calif.
• Lancaster, Penn.
• Ogden, Utah
• Redding, Calif.
• Vineland, N.J.
• Winchester, Va.
I’m glad to see their coverage is expanding, because the current data coverage is not exactly fantastic outside of large cities. Most areas around where I travel are listed as 2G only: which is pretty unacceptable nowadays. You can check the coverage in your area here if you were planning on switching companies or are just curious.
