With the Play Store and internal storage for devices constantly getting larger, we’re always on the lookout for fun games to play on both our phones and tablets. Well Amazon’s free app of the day is no exception and deserves to be on all of our devices – Monster Shooter: The Lost Levels is a top-down shooter with easy controls and fun gameplay.
While it’s not redefining any action titles, it’s a fun game which allows you to level up, customize, and kill to your hearts content. There are two different types of gameplay including a survival mode, and a story mode both resembling the survival mode with a little more direction. The graphics are smooth and sharp and scale nicely to even the larger 10.1″ screens. While the game is fun, you do have to do quite a bit of work to acquire money to purchase upgrades; and naturally, to make more money they include an in-game cash shop which makes me think twice about any game.
The controls include a manual and automatic shooting style to let you choose which you prefer before every level. The manual one lets you, obviously, manually control the shooting angles while the automatic one just shoots the closest monster in the vicinity.
