We’re nearing week two of our Indie Apps program and have not come close to running out of great entries: today we have a fun game that requires a bit of thinking without making you pull your hair out. The point of the game is to aim the laser towards the target using only the pieces provided to you. Limited with what you can work with, it becomes a bit of a time-killer if you want something quick to do while waiting in line or sitting around the house. Bend the Laser by developer Sean Mongey brings countless hours of procedurally generated levels and crisp graphics to keep you entertained on the go.
Who better to start it off than Sean himself?
Bend The Laser is a free puzzle game with unlimited levels on multiple difficulties since they are all procedurally generated. Players bend and split laser beams to light up all the check points to beat levels. My game has been designed to run on any android device with 2.1 and up with clean & colorful HD graphics whether it is a phone or tablet. A tutorial mode is available for beginners to get started. It’s simple yet addicting and it’s really one of a kind since it has new puzzles every time you play for absolutely free! Whether you’re standing around for 2 mins wanting to solve some easy puzzles or have 5 mins+ for an insane puzzle my game has you covered

Living up to the description, the game brings HD graphics for any device thanks to the great yet simple UI design scheme and excellent randomly generated levels. At the main menu you are graced with two choices: tutorial, providing the basics to learn how to play the game through a 12 level mission type design; and infinite, which gives you the ability to choose a game type consisting of bending mechanisms and difficulty.

Great Graphics, infinite amount of fun, what’s not to love?
The tutorial mode gets you on your feet learning the basics of bending the lasers and making them reach their goals with the selection of pipes to choose from. It starts off easy and works its was up with increasing difficulty eventually settings you up for failure with the Insane difficulty.
If you’re interested in a long-lasting game then this is bound to stay on your phone. The infinite mode provides, you guessed it, an infinite amount of levels for you to play with thanks to the great generating system to keep you busy. Ranging from the beginner ‘easy’ mode to the expert ‘insane’ mode will keep you busy for some time with the simple goal of completing as many challenges as possible. Stuck on one? No worries, you can simply open up the menu by pressing the back button and check out the solution.
Grab it. It’s free.
If we haven’t convinced you yet, it’s completely free on the Play Store giving you no reason to not go check out this well made game. Hopefully Sean will bring some more awesome games to us in the future! Thanks for the submission! Want to submit your own application for our Indie Apps of the Week?
