Sharp Announces 3D Waterproof Android Phone
This one’s…interesting.
Sharp revealed the Aquos Phone The Hybrid 007SH (not a typo, i promise); it’s a 3D-waterproof-camera-handheld-swivel-Android-clamshell-Sharp mad science creation of a phone.
Here are some of those specs with a bit more detail: It’s got a 3.4-inch naked-eye 3D LCD touchscreen with 854×480 resolution, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a totally waterproof design body, 16MP CCD camera with 1280×720 HD video recording, and it goes from…well, this:

to this…

and then to this.

And if all that weren’t enough, they’ve thrown in a Micro HDMI display, Micro SD slot, a digital TV tuner, Blu-ray connectivity, digital wallet function, a variety of color options, and GPS, among other things.
The Aquos Phone The Hybrid 007SH will be released in Japan starting next month, and there’s no word on if its coming to the U.S- or what even powers the thing- but at this point…I’m kind of afraid.
LG G-Slate Appears on 3D Editing YouTube Video; Maybe a Sign of 3D Video Capture?

The LG G-Slate has shown up on yet another YouTube video, only this time the main subject of the video was in regards to 3D video editing. Now, before clicking play on the clip above, do yourself a favor and just skip straight to 3:37 to avoid the nonsense before the G-Slate’s appearance. It’s very short and sweet, and seems almost as if the guy doesn’t even know what greatness he holds in his hand. As you can see though, the G-Slate does in fact have 2 camera’s on the back, which could possibly indicate that it records 3D video.
Maybe a long shot, but hey… is it just a coincidence that the whole video is about 3D editing to begin with?
