Huawei Glory Coming to Cricket Wireless, Impressive Option for a Prepaid Carrier

Huawei’s upcoming smartphone is surprisingly, well…good, for the prepaid carrier it’s going to be available for (Cricket Wireless).

The Huawei Glory will run Android Gingerbread 2.3 and, depending on who you believe, will either have a single-core or dual-core 1.4-GHz Qualcomm processor (Huawei says dual, but Qualcomm says otherwise?). It’s got a 4-inch, 480×854 resolution display; and it also comes with an 8-megapixel camera.

The phone will be available for $300 (not sure when) with no contract.

As an added incentive, Huawei has already confirmed the Glory will upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich come 2012.
