So far our Indie Apps of the Week section has been an excellent way for us to meet small time developers. We have already received many submissions from these newer developers and developers who just need publicity in general. Today I’m going to be taking a look at BugMeNot for Android. This app sports a nice holo theme and provides complete access to the popular BugMeNot database.
Doom Live Wallpaper

Are you a big fan of DOOM? Who isn’t. Enjoy that arcade shooter feeling wherever you go. Thanks to the wonderful community at Reddit I’ve discovered an older live wallpaper that still deserves some publicity. It’s one of the few that is highly interactive and quite fun to play with. Whenever you turn on your phone a space marine spawns and will walk around the screen. Monsters will randomly start to spawn with increased difficulty. Don’t worry though, you can help out your little space marine by simply tapping the screen to spawn him weapons and health that he’ll go and retrieve. Is that mini marine starting to get smug? Well, you can knock him back down a few pegs by simply dragging and dropping your icons around the screen. Every time an icon is moved a new monster will spawn in that location. Live wallpapers can be pretty hit or miss, so it’s nice to see some top quality ones floating around out there. It’s completely free, completely fun and completely addicting. Give it a shot.
