While I am not too fond of the many accessories that Sony has currently released, there is no doubt in my mind that they are on the right track. The Smartwatch, Smart wireless headset, among other accessories by them are not a bad idea – just horribly implemented for the time being. The software for managing these pieces of hardware just got a massive update which makes the application useful for everyone, even if you don’t own one of their products. [Read more...]

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play UK Launch March 31st
We know it’s been a couple weeks since we’ve heard much about the released of the Xperia Play, but we knew it would only be a matter of time before the word went rampant. Folks in the UK should starting preparing for the launch of the much-anticipated Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Scheduled to be released on March 31st, the Xperia Play is said to be sold with 6 pre-installed games for your enjoyment. I personally can’t wait to get my hands on one, for the mere fact that it’s got a killer gaming pad on it compared to every over touchscreen device, which makes using any emulator a real pain in the arse.

ViewSonic ViewPad 10 Finally Shipping to US; But Who's Still Excited?
It’s been quite some time since we covered anything regarding ViewSonic and their line up of Android tablets, but since it has finally been announced that ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10 has made it over here to the states, we figured what better time than now to update everyone on what’s to be expected with this tablet in regards to hardware and price.
The ViewPad 10 still sports a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a 1024 x 600 resolution, 2GB of RAM, 1.66GHz Atom Processor, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, microSD slot, along with all the usual bells and whistles like WiFi and Bluetooth.
What was originally appealing about the ViewPad 10 was the fact that it’s a dual-booting tablet, offering Windows 7 as well as Android. What’s not appealing about this is that it’s a rather ancient version of Android… we’re talkin’ 1.6. While the specs may not seem fantastic, especially considering the competition with the Apple iPad 2, Motorola XOOM and Samsung Galaxy Tab, it’s not stopping shipments from coming here in the US. You can expect to see the ViewPad 10 for $599 and $679 in select stores.
So… is it everything you’ve always dreamed it would be?
Spring Training Begins for Bell Employees for the Atrix 4G; Launching Soon
The Motorola Atrix 4G may already be available here in the US from AT&T and Motorola, but still isn’t that case for the folk over in Canada on Bell. As Bell prepares for the launch of the Atrix 4G, which is speculated to happen within the next couple of weeks, Bell employees are beginning their spring training for the device. Rehearsing key points such as MOTOBLUR setup, HotSpot Connections, Contacts and Voicemail, and Basic navigation. Unfortunately there is still no pricing at this time from Bell, but surely we can assume it won’t be any cheaper than the $149.99 price that’s offered by Radio Shack here in the states.
