Sources for Engadget offered up this image detailing the upgrade to Gingerbread for the Samsung Galaxy Tab on July 7. Also, if we believe this, the Tab will be getting HD Bluetooth.
It says you’re device will recognize the need to update, and will ask you to download or install for the update.
Also, according to the pic above, the Samsung Transformer will have some bug fixes taken care of the same day.

According to sources from This Is My Next preparation for Vizio’s tablet has begun and the tablet itself will show up relatively soon. The picture above was sent to This Is My Next and comes from Walmart. It seems the tablet remains unnamed but priced and detailed a bit; it’ll be $349 with an 8-inch display, GPS, and a front-facing camera.
This isn’t the first time the tablet’s been spotted. Inventory listings and accessories for the tablet have been popping up, and of course someone famous already has their hands on it. The only thing close to a time confirmation is a company rep saying they’re “getting ready to introduce” it.
The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G has been spotted, and thanks to the ninja over at TMONews who was a trooper and snapped some pictures for the rest of the Android community to see- these images reveal that it sports a front facing camera, Android 2.2.1, and is most-definitely manufactured by Samsung. We assume it won’t be long before we see some more pictures pop up for the Sidekick 4G along with some specs we can hopefully drool over. More shots below.
Although rumors have been circling the web about the Samsung Vibrant 4G, we have yet to see any solid proof that device is in the making, or even exists. This new image may be the first sign of is to come, thanks to a source from BGR. A little inside information on the unit would include a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 21Mbps HSPA+ for TMO’s 4G Network, front facing camera and best of all… Android 2.3! Their source claims that the device is “smooth and stupid fast.”
Some people are questioning the legitimacy of this photo considering it could very much be a standard Samsung Vibrant with a Gingerbread theme installed. I suppose only time will tell as the weeks progress, but let us know what you think!

The upcoming EVO Shift 4G seems to have made an appearance in Best Buy’s system, revealing the device’s 2-year contract price of $149.99 as well as the off-contract price of $549.99. If you’re looking to just sign up for a 1-year agreement, then expect to pay $299.99. While these are pretty much standard prices for any new smartphone, it’s good to know that it’s still reasonable for what the HTC EVO Shift 4G brings us.
