Has Halfbrick actually brought something new to the table or is this the same endless runner we’ve seen over the years again and again with a different background.

Pandora Gets a New Look

If you listen to music on the internet then you have more than likely used Pandora once or twice. A staple to internet radio, Pandora has been an extremely popular website and also smart phone application. Unfortunately, until today, the app had been sub par to say the least and in my personal experience, extremely buggy at times. After the huge update today Pandora now has a completely new look. Now following the Android UI guidelines, Pandora looks much sleeker and runs much better as well. You will now get to enjoy almost the exact some functionality that you have on the official website. Review, rate and bookmark previously played tracks as well as use the new “I’m tired of this track” feature. Another thing they have added is the ability to look at the lyrics of all the songs you are listening to. Users of the internet radio station should be pleased with the update. Give it a try with the link below and check out our screenshots.

Fans of the picture sharing service have been eagerly awaiting its’ arrival on the Play Store and they will be happy to know that Pinterest is now available. Doom Live Wallpaper

Are you a big fan of DOOM? Who isn’t. Enjoy that arcade shooter feeling wherever you go. Thanks to the wonderful community at Reddit I’ve discovered an older live wallpaper that still deserves some publicity. It’s one of the few that is highly interactive and quite fun to play with. Whenever you turn on your phone a space marine spawns and will walk around the screen. Monsters will randomly start to spawn with increased difficulty. Don’t worry though, you can help out your little space marine by simply tapping the screen to spawn him weapons and health that he’ll go and retrieve. Is that mini marine starting to get smug? Well, you can knock him back down a few pegs by simply dragging and dropping your icons around the screen. Every time an icon is moved a new monster will spawn in that location. Live wallpapers can be pretty hit or miss, so it’s nice to see some top quality ones floating around out there. It’s completely free, completely fun and completely addicting. Give it a shot. Play Magazines Service and Application Review

With Google expanding the Play Store, it is only a matter of time before every form of media that Google can get their hands on will be digitized and added to their library. While Amazon and Barnes and Nobles have been taking advantage of this for some time with their newer line of E-book readers, Google recently entered the game when they released their newest version of Android along with the upgraded Play Store. With the low price point and media-oriented design of the new Nexus 7, Google stepped up their game by adding a few new forms of media for users to choose from including Play Magazines and TV Shows. While these are not new to the digital world, they are new to Google and we’re here to tell you if they’re worth it. [Read more...]

With the market for tablets increasing dramatically both recently and over the next few months, many of you may already own or plan on owning a tablet soon. Tablets obviously make gaming and browsing the web far easier thanks to the larger screen and powerhouse running behind them, but many users become frustrated when having to lay the tablet down to pick up their phone and reply to a text. The frustration only becomes worse when you put your phone away to only have it vibrate or ring again the second you do.
