Best Buy Listing ASUS Eee Pad Transformer for $399.99

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything on the 10.1-inch ASUS Eee Pad, but luckily this bit of information makes the wait worth the while. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is now being listed on Best Buy’s online store for an awesome price of just $399.99. Why is this so awesome? Well, the specs alone on this beastly tablet are nothing to mock. Featuring NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, front and rear cameras, two USB parts, 16GB of internal storage all on a 1280 x 800 display. How’s that for competition?

The ASUS Eee Pad is still listed as “Coming Soon”, but hang in there a little longer, because this is going to be the best priced tablet across the market right now.

NVIDIA Tegra Zone: Tegra 2 Android's Getting Playstation Games

You heard it right- Playstation games are headed to Android. Well, to be more specific, Tegra 2 Android devices. The announcement was made through NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone application, which can be downloaded directly from the Android Market. The company plans to take advantage of the steadily increasing market for mobile gaming, and intends to launch the first set of games through the Playstation Suite including titles such as Cool Boarders 2, Wild Arms and Syphon Filter. I’d say this is a pretty good time to decide whether or not you want a Tegra 2 Android or not, but the choice seems pretty simple to me.

Impressive 1080p Video Taken with New LG Optimus 2X

The LG Optimus 2X was officially announced at this years CES last week, but we have yet to really see the amazing power that this device contains. With guts that would entice any smartphone guru like a Dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2, a 4-inch screen large enough for you to watch the videos you made in HD 1080p with your 8-megapixel camera, and of course Android 2.2 which will surely be upgradable to Android 2.3 in the very-near future. So take a peek at the video below showing off the LG Optimus 2X’s HD cam in action. Although we’d recommend you switch the setting of the video to 1080p and expand that sucker in to full-screen mode to get the full effect of its greatness.

Adobe Flash Player Gets Another Update

Hey, look! More updates! This time it’s for Adobe Flash Player, being upgraded to version 10.1.106.15. As usual, Adobe refuses to release a changelog with their updates, so it’s being assumed that these are just minor bug fixes. We should note that it’s been advised that those that using Tegra 2 devices should hold off on the update. Why? Well, we’re not exactly sure but that’s the word. If we hear more on this, we’ll be sure to update the post.

Verizon Logo Shows Up on Motorola's Honeycomb Tablet

Some new images of Motorola’s 10-inch Honeycomb Tablet have surfaced thanks to Mr. Burrycam, and it looks like it’s been branded by none other than the Big Red. We’re not sure on a definite name for the beast yet, but it’s being tossed between Stingray, Everest, or Trygon. Some confirmed specs include a 1GHz Tegra 2 T20 processor, 1280 x 800 multitouch screen, 32GB onboard storage, 512MB RAM, Micro USB port, Mini-HDMI port, 3.5 headphone jack, front facing camera, and even an additional micro-USB slot allowing for up to another 32GB of storage.

NVIDIA Tegra 3 Chips Near-Ready, Quad-Core's in Development

As with most electronics and technology in general, as soon as something new and exciting comes out, you can almost guarantee that there’s something cooking in the over that’s bigger, badder, and what no one would expect in terms of power and performance. This is exactly what NVIDIA is proving right now. With Tegra 2 chips hitting new and upcoming tablets for the new year, the company has confessed that the Tegra 3 is nearly finished. And if that doesn’t make the hair on your neck stand up, then you’ll be surprised to know that a QUAD-CORE Tegra is currently in development!

This is outstanding to hear, yet hard to even fathom what kind of speed and performance we could expect out of a future Android device with this sort of power underneath the hood. NVIDIA CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang states that the Quad-Core will be coming in the near future, and that Dual-Core processors will be the industry standard for 2011. Excited anyone?
