We’ve all been there- so wrapped up in whatever is happening on our smartphones (Facebook, Twitter, texting) that we have absolutely no attention to give to anything else. Occasionally, this can lead to disaster. To put it simply, that small screen in front of your face can make you oblivious to what’s really right in front of you, and that can get dangerous.
More convenient than just putting your device down in situations that call for your attention, there’s the new Transparent Screen app. This application allows you see through whatever you’re viewing on your phone to see what’s happening ahead, using your rear-facing camera.
This app is not the first of its kind, but definitely different. Unlike other applications that change particular activities (such as texting) see-through, with this you can make everything- from your homepage to your browser- transparent. You can also adjust the level of opacity to your preference.
Long use can drain your battery pretty quickly though, so do try to put the phone down occasionally.
